The Gold Coast’s biggest multi-sports festival is back!
Pan Pacific Masters Games was sorely missed last year but it’s going ahead for 2021 and not to be missed for sports enthusiasts of all ages and abilities.
If you’re yet to experience what the Pan Pacific Masters Games is all about, the huge 10-day festival is a celebration of sports, competition and getting outdoors to get active. It dates back to 1985 (starting in Canada) and is now a biennial Gold Coast event that attracts tens of thousands of participants.
Last year’s event was of course cancelled (we all know why…) so it’s being held this spring instead.
Over a thrilling 10-day period on the Gold Coast, catch over 40 sports on the beaches, in the parks and inside the coast’s world-class sports venues.
You can join in the action or simply spectate and soak up the atmosphere, with sports including archery, boxing, cricket, equestrian, football, hockey, rowing, lawn bowls, rugby, sailing, swimming, tennis, volleyball and a whole lot more.
There are categories for everyone to compete in, along with a packed live music program to enjoy to celebrate your wins. Past Pan Pacific Masters Games involved KillerQueen, The Koi Boys, Hot Potato Band, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, KISSperience, Magic Carpet, ABBA Live and more, so be sure this year’s lineup is going to be nothing short of exciting (to be announced soon)!
And if you’re wondering, venues include Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, Gold Coast Hockey Centre and more.
